One thing I pay more attention to while buying new items, is whether the item is easy to wear or not. This is probably one of the most comfortable ánd fashionable outfits I have ever wore. I used to think that this is only important during relaxing holiday days, like on the pictures. A little throwback to Denmark, but it turns out it is even more important during long working days. Since last week I am an fashion intern which means making long days. But, stay tuned, because I will tell you more about it later!

About two weeks ago, I went to Denmark with my parents. Just a peaceful holiday week in the middle of nowwhere. I loved it, because it was exactly what a needed. Unfortunately the weather was not that great, but in our cute holiday house we had a jacuzzi to get into the ultimate relaxing mode. Besides driving arround and being pleased by the pretty nature, we also visited a bigger city one day, namely Aarhus. If you ever go there, visit ARoS, the art museum of Aarhus, because that was amazing. It was also nice to see my parents again. Since I study in Amsterdam, I barely come home anymore, and ofcourse at this moment, while almost starting my internship in Antwerp, I will be gone for half a year as well. This mix and match of images completely captures my holiday, now it is time for the next adventure.

Don’t you love those days in summer where you have heaps of time to just walk around town, get a coffee, meet up with friends? For me that’s what I like most about holidays: time to do nothing. I believe that at these moments you relax the most, which gives you energy and inspiration to use during the rest of the year. We walked around Amsterdam Oud-Zuid which is an area with very big, old, beautiful houses and we gained a lot of new ideas for the coming months! Go there and have a look yourself.

Well, it became time for you to meet my beloved floral pantalon. I bought it last year in Zara's final sale for a very nice price and in the mean time it is one of my favorite items. I always feel comfortable in it and 100% Lisanne. I wore it to an internship interview, while working as VIP stylist, at my birthday, during school presentations and I wanted to wear it to Amsterdam Fashion Week this weel, but unfortunately I was ill at that time. When I am in a more relaxed mood, I combine it with a blue sweater, when I want to be taken seriously, I combine it like I did in this outfit post and when I am in a more girly mood, I combine it with a light pink blouse. Millions of combinations, happy me!

I think I haven't mentioned this before, but... I am going to Antwerp for my internship! I am going to do my internship at A.F.Vandevorst, a small luxury house and I am really excited! This means that I am moving to our neighbors in August. I found a room about a week ago in a nice student house with 44 rooms, this will also be a total new experience, next to the fact that I'll be working everyday for a company. It also means that have to leave my favorite city, Amsterdam. Of course, I'll be back in January, but in the meantime I am going to miss this view. This pictures are shot a couple of weeks ago when I couldn't sleep. Don't you love the view?

My grandparents have a huge house full with amazing things my grandpa brought back from his travels (he used to be a sailor). I like to snoop around on their attic, where they keep a lot of silly old things one could easily throw away. But every now and then I find an old leather suitcase with some amazing treasures in it…

My grandmother inherited these two bags (together with old gloves, scarves, handkerchiefs) from two of her great aunts. The bags are from before World War 2! The black one is made from crocodile leather and the original strap was so broke I attached a new one on it. It’s always an eye catcher when I go out. The brown bag is much bigger than it looks like and is great for shopping trips. Carrying these bags people ask me what the address is of the great vintage store I bought them. Well, now you all know the secret of my special treasures!

This outfit post contains a lot of new items. I was kind of shocked when I checked my bank account and saw how much money I spent on clothes, which is barely anything. Sooo, when I went shopping, I bought some nice new beauties. Lately, I am really into basics, because I want to build a timeless and a more sophisticated wardrobe. An item that certainly belongs there are the shorts. They are my all time favorite. It is such a shame that I can't get them anymore, because they get a little bit old. Besides the shorts, everything is quite new. Happy me.

On the 17th of February I turned 21… Which is quite some months ago, but lately I finally had the time to celebrate this big event (AMFI life). It’s tradition here that your friends make a speech and a photo book (or they do a poem, a song) and mostly they make fun of you… I love chatting and eating with friends, so I had a wonderful evening.

The dress I wore that night was from Missoni. I bought it at the store I was working last year. It was hanging there for some weeks already and everybody told me I HAD to buy it, since it was absolutely an ‘Anouk dress’. I tried it on and yes, it fitted me perfectly (and so it happened, haha). Maybe you recognize this, sometimes it’s like the garment is made for you.

My earrings are another story: they use to be my mums. As a young girl I remember her putting them on when she went out with my dad. I used to say that the four hearts stood for my dad, mum, brother and me. When I graduated from high school I received a box with the earrings in it! On the back of each heart a letter was in scripted: P/M/L/A (Papa, Mama, Lars and Anouk).

My shoes were from Prada. I bought them on a sample sale some years ago.

Have you guys survived the heatwave? Yes, I belong to the few people who are not really into tropical temperatures. When it is around 25 degrees, I think it is fine, but when the temperatures are rising I prefer to stay inside. Well, not that that really works with the temperatures of the past week. Anyways, I try not to complain and I even went to the beach last Friday! For me that is unusual as well. I think it has been two years since I've really been there to swim and sunbathe. But I really enjoyed it! Except the fact that I was running around as a 'sandman', cause I had sand literally everywhere. Even on my face, like a sand beard. I tried everything, but I just did not get it of my face, until I took a nice cold shower at home.

About the outfit, for me this outfit is girlish. It has been a while since I wore something like this, but I have to say that I felt good in it. The pictures are taken by Anouk a little while ago, so I still wear tights. I think some of you agree that there is no better feeling than walking around bare legged, so that is what I am doing these weeks. And actually it seems like my style is moving away from this outfit, but you will notice that yourself later.

This post shows Barcelona through my eyes. I took my beloved camera on every trip we did, which were a lot, because this visit was a nice AMFI school trip. Yay for trips abroad. For me it was the first time in Barcelona, so that made it even better. I thought it was a nice city, but on fashion level it was not that inspiring. What I did love were the museums and the architecture. Oh and of course the market at La Ramblas. I wish they had fruit shakes for one euro in Amsterdam as well...

Luckily, they have enough other nice spots in Amsterdam. I finally have time to do something with that again, because I have summer holidays. It already started amzing. I am doing so many nice things lately. Dinners, drinks with friends, movie nights, girls nights, partying. I am totally happy. Maybe it becomes time to sprinkle this happiness to my blog and take you through some of these adventures.

Once upon a time… two young girls (or princesses, whatever) were walking through a sunny Amsterdam, looking for nice places to take pictures and doing some shooting themselves. Chatting and laughing about their lives they soon started talking about the blog of one of them. She was very busy with school and thought it was a pity she didn´t post more! Her friend, always in for a new challenge came up with the idea to help her with the blog (called fashionable and me, as you’ve probably guessed) and offer her writing, fashion and photo skills…

So here it begins! My name is Anouk and I am a friend of Lisanne from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. I am currently studying fashion and management and within two weeks I will move to New York for my Sales Internship with Hugo Boss. As said, I will support Lisanne with her blog and post articles about my life in the Big Apple (and afterwards maybe more?).

Besides fashion I like to read books, go to restaurants, stay in bed all Sunday with my boyfriend, play water polo and buy new clothes. You will probably get articles with a bit more text than you are used to from Lisanne, since writing is what I like most. But I will keep it short and to the point, don’t worry!

This first article contains some images from the shoot we did close to my room, the maritime museum. It was absolutely beautiful that evening and the light was amazing! The dress I wear is from a small shop in Paris, I don’t know the brand. Every time I am in a far away country (or just a nice city) I like to buy a dress. Wearing the garment always make me feel like being back in the holiday spot. I have dresses from Sydney, Paris, Antwerp, Edinburgh….

I think about a year ago, Look J Boden, contacted me if I wanted to do a shoot with him. And I said yes. After trying to meet up about four times, three weeks ago we finally found time. I traveled to Rotterdam, which is a great city by the way, and played for model. I have to say, since I do not really shoot outfit pictures anymore, it felt quite unusual and awkward so every now and then, but I am happy with the result.  It was a nice experience.. Curious for more about Look's photography? Check his website.

Also, I have some other news, because I am going to get a little help. Stay tuned and you will find out more tomorrow!

Did you ever google your name? Well, I did that last night and I found a page filled with my outfit pictures, from two years back till now. Kind of creepy, but on the other hand it was nice to see and a nice reminder of all the time and effort I used to put in my blog. The last few weeks, I have been telling people that I quit blogging, which I kind of did. But, now I see my outfit pictures and my happy faces again, I feel like blogging again. I have said this before and I recognize a kind of pattern. Every time when I do not know what I want to do with my future, for my internship or when I am simply a little bit lost with school assignments, I try to remember myself why I love fashion and what got me at the place where I am right now. The reason why I love fashion slightly changed since AMFI, but the reason why I even got to AMFI is my blog. And I am still grateful for that!

About the outfit; this is something I wore about two months ago. So that means that it was freezing back then and that my hear is finally longer again. I am so happy with that. It turned out that short hear is not my thing. Coincidentally, I wore the same blouse to an internship interview yesterday. I only styled it differently.

Follow me on  FACEBOOK // BLOGLOVIN // TWITTER These images come from ´the future of fashion is now´ in Booijmans van Beuningen and S.M.A.K museum of contemporary art in Ghent. It is already a while ago that I have been here. Nevertheless, this images do still inspire me, and that is exactly what I need right now. Deadlines and exams are coming...

Remember my dear teddy coat? Last January I had some bad luck and I discovered a fire hole in my coat after a perfect night out. I was able to cry at that moment, because it is my favorite coat in the whole wide world. Anyways, when I was shopping last week, I bumped into this beauty; Teddy 2.0 and to be honest, I like this one even more than the first one. I think black suits me better than off white. Teddy 2.0 is big, cozy and comfy.

This is my first outfit post of 2015. I have not blogged for two months, which is quite shocking. I guess I needed a break. Busy December days, New Years Eve, crazy school times and nice social happenings. School wise, things are going great. I finally got my propedeuse, happy me! And in case you are wondering whether I have any plans for my blog? I don't have them. I'll see where I end. I'm excited to start again, show new outfits, new inspirations, new photography and other things on my mind.
